This is our house photographed in 1908
We bought the house and the shop underneath the accommodation on 21st May 1975. Since then, the business has closed down and the shop part converted back to residential.
Milne Bros (Brothers) was a creamery, but today it would be called a dairy. 'Eureka Villas', as it is known, was built around 1860 AD. Above the horses head is an alleyway to the rear of the property. At the left, T.B.Davies Chemist is still a chemist and is actually called a 'Pharmacy' as can be seen below. As the properties have gone through a modernisation sequence and unfortunately, there are no horses and carts around either today.
The Eureka Villas crest is between the two semi-detached properties.
And before the Pharmacy changed hands at the beginning of February 2001.
The crest!
